Pastels are timeless! Not a trend

This retro pastel photoshoot from Elle Russia looks like something out of the film Stepford Wives (starring Nicole Kidman). It inspired to write this post. But have you ever noticed how every year round we see pastels in all the women’s magazines.

Pastels are not a fashion trend. Pastels are a timeless classic palette you can invest in and know it will never go out of fashion, unlike neons! (I don’t want to knock neons, I do love a bit of neon, it’s the hippy in me – but beware, use them sparingly).
