Summer Lovin’: Top 20 Most Beautiful Beach Hats

In a few months I will be travelling to Fiji for a holiday with the girls so I have been browsing for a designer chapeau aka ‘wide brim sun hat’ to buy online to shade my face from the sun. A lot of people forget this, but the sun is the no.1 culprit for premature ageing.

A few years back when I was working in beauty PR, one of our beauty plastic surgeons explained that from his point of view beauty creams were a waste of money (if you are under the age of 40). He said, before 40 we still have lots of collagen and elastin in our skin naturally so the beauty creams are just a waste. It’s the sun which kills that collagen and elastin so he said to wear sunscreen religiously everyday if we were serious about preserving our looks.

I have been wearing sunscreen every day ever since but it’s not enough when on holiday as your in the sun for prolonged periods of time. Want I need is to get is a stylish wide brim sun hat for the beach and pool side, but not a cheap throw away one. This time I am looking to buy a quality sun hat as an investment piece in a classic design and colour.
